On the road, for a road trip to the Blue City of India, Jodhpur.
When we touched down, there was nostalgia in the air. Though I haven’t been to that city before, I felt I’m a part of it the moment we crossed the railway tracks, which marks the entry of Jodhpur.
The faces are so welcoming, and locals are good with navigating too, but the landscapes are so beautiful all the way, confusing us which ones to witness and what to leave. There, sat a gentleman I asked the route from. He smiled when I asked to click his picture. The route he told, led us to a beautiful sunset.
These above photographs are from our way to Jodhpur.
But who knew, the next morning’s sun would be more and more beautiful. We caught it on our way hiking towards the Siddhanath Mahadev Temple.
The hike was tiring and exhausting after 12 hours of driving. And here, my Mamu (uncle) was way too excited to show us the picturesque views along the track of the hike, and as soon as we started walking, it was all so worth it.
Siddhanath Mahadev Temple opens doors for worshippers on the top of the hill, thus people often choose stairs to walk up to the temple.
But the hike is completely breath-taking. Because you have beautiful views of the Kaylana Lake around you. Water, sunrise, reflections, it all sums up.
The first light of the sunrise falls on your face, making you glow, content and happy.
I always say to myself that there are so many places in this world to see. Because every place leaves an impact on me. Kaylana Lake taught me to flow, despite the mighty mountains which surround us in the walk of life, and never stop before reaching your goal. You never know, the way to it can be beautiful too. At least, give it a try.
Same goes for all of you. Thank you for being a part of my Journey.
Happy reading! More stories are on your way from Jodhpur!
